    Choose to be happy

I happened to be reading Our Daily Bread afew days back when I was caught by a phrase, 'Choose to be happy'. I think all of us can choose to be happy despite the circumstances that befall before us. And when we set our minds on the bright side of life rather than the dull side, we begin to taste and see for ourself the beauty of creation. It's good to be happy because even in Philippians, it says 'Rejoice in the Lord, I will say it again, Rejoice.' Yes,we can choose to rejoice when we know that every new day is a gift from God. And so all the more, we should welcome each day with great expectations and a desire to live up each day for the Lord.

This week started off pretty well cos I was called down for afew interviews. But hey, I'm still jobless. Yesterday, Shuyi and I went Tampines Mall to slack the whole afternoon. Yup, just to slack and waste our time away. I think I should start doing some constructive stuffs soon. At night, met up with Lance, Jonathan and Esther for supper. It was really enjoyable catching up with my secondary school friends and challenging one another on our faith. It was quite funny when Jonathan said that we should start a business together.

Jon: Hey, we can set up a business together...
    Esther: What business?
    Eve: What business?
    Jon: Anything...
    Esther and Eve: *giggles*
Eve: Anything? you mean food industry or NOKIA?
Jon: We can be partners...why not we meet up one day to discuss?
Eve: Hey, its not that easy...we need capital.
    Esther: And resources
Jon: we can start with $500...start low
Jon: ok can can...draw up proposal?
Eve: Why not u set up the business first then we join you?
Esther and Eve: Yeah yeah!!!Good idea...haha
    Lance: haha
